You asked for it….You wanted a better-for-you ice cream that offered the same ice cream experience as the traditional pint from childhood. We heard you and we answered!
Our community relies on our promise to deliver low carbohydrate, nutrient-dense, better-for-you alternatives to the foods you don't want to give up.
So, we did just that with ice cream!
Real Good Food's ice cream is the first-ever super-premium, better-for-you, ice cream made from real ingredients, offering a fraction of the carbs from traditional ice cream. Sweetened with allulose, this ice cream offers a real ice cream experience without spiking glucose levels. Compared to traditional sugar that has 4 calories per gram, allulose has 0.2 calories per gram. Allulose is a naturally-occurring sugar, free of chemical processing, which allows the body to metabolize allulose as natural sugar and not an added sugar.
Other healthier ice creams are classified as “light” ice cream while ours is classified as “super-premium”. Unlike many other “lite” ice creams that often fluff their pints with air or water to hit a low-calorie claim, our ice cream is real. Made with 16% butterfat, our ice cream fits the standard identity of "super-premium." This perfectly textured ice cream is offered in seven flavors: Vanilla, Chocolate, Mint Chip, Peanut Butter, Salted Caramel, Mocha Java Chip, and Cake Batter. Our community can depend on a “4g of sugar and 180 calories per serving” claim for the product collection, varying slightly by flavor. The 4g of sugar can best be attributed to the real milk and cream ingredients in our recipe.
Committed to our brand mission to make foods you love more accessible, we largely considered our community of diabetics in creating this product. We decided to create this product to reintroduce the foods they love, with the quality they'd expect. So we went a step further. We included inulin in their ice cream. I know what you're thinking - what the heck is that? Inulin is a prebiotic fiber found in many plants, offering many health benefits such as improving digestive health and helping control blood sugar.
