Crispy Chicken “Big Mac” Style Dupe

  • 2 Sandwiches

Chicken "Big Mac" Sandwich

Ingredients

  • Two (2) Real Good Foods Lightly Breaded Chicken Breast Fillets
  • 2 sesame seed burger buns
  • 2 slices American cheese
  • 4–6 dill pickle slices
  • 2 leaves green leaf lettuce, shredded
  • 4 tbsp burger sauce (store-bought or homemade-see below)

Homemade Burger Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tsp sweet pickle relish
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & Pepper

For Two Sandwiches:

  1. Cook the Chicken Fillets
    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
    2. Once oven is preheated, place 4-5 fillets in an oven-safe pan
    3. Bake until golden and heated through (about 15-20 minutes) or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
    • Air Fryer Alternative! Preheat to 400°F. Place 4-5 frozen fillets in the basket, ensuring they do not overlap. Heat for 13 minutes, flipping halfway (optional) or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Let cool for 1 minute. 
  1. Toast the Buns
    1. Lightly toast sesame seed buns for a bit of crunch.
  2. Assemble the Burger
    1. Spread about 1 tablespoon burger sauce on the bottom bun.
    2. Place one chicken patty on each bun.
    3. Add a slice of American cheese on top.
    4. Layer pickle slices, shredded lettuce, and another tablespoon of sauce.
    5. Cap with the top bun.
  3. Serve
    1. Serve with extra burger sauce for dipping.
    2. Enjoy!
